About Dr. Peggy Nowak, MD
Dr. Peggy Nowak is an otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon turned physician professionalism and wellbeing consultant. With over 15 years in physician wellbeing and professionalism, she has served as President of the Medical Staff, Chair of Legislation and Regulation for the State of Michigan, and Board Member of the Michigan State Medical Society.
She developed and integrated professionalism programs across an 8-hospital system, linking professional behavior to quality and patient safety outcomes. She delivers ongoing lectures and workshops on professionalism, peer support, and physician leadership development.
